White Rips T-Shirt

The Rips was one of our Grandad Keith's main jobs and favourite places to be. Working as a 'ripper' on the area called 'the rips', he would use dynamite to extend the coal face, blowing up the rocky surface, setting arches in the roof and laying new tracks for the tubs to move coal along.
